Creative Kids - MAC Art Camp

A full week of art and fun! We will have a whole week to get creative and make some incredible art! We will be: Making bee houses, Creating our own trading cards, Decorating an old rubber boot and filling with sunflowers! Having a fun scavenger hunt in the MAC Community Garden, Drawing, chalk art, Painting, origami seashell, Fruit still life painting & fruit salad! Beach walks, Face painting, and SO MUCH MORE!
Location: Community Art Garden at the MAC
About the Instructor:  Alex Carr is the Coordinator for our Creative Kids Program. Alex is an artist and illustrator living in Parksville BC. She loves exploring different mediums and styles, for example pencil drawing, digital illustration, acrylic painting and more. She likes to have fun with her work and express the beauty of the natural world. She is interested in a variety of subjects; be it plants, people or forest, there always something interesting to draw or paint.
